ABOUT TECHNICAL OUTREACH (T.O.)
About Technical Outreach
President’s Message:
Welcome to Technical Outreach. We started 37 years ago when a group of friends attending a Bible
study went to Mexico to build a small medical clinic. On the way to Mexico we pooled the money we
had to buy supplies at a building supply center. We spent Saturday building the clinic and in the evening
we had an outreach in the local church sharing the Gospel of Jesus and praying for people. The whole
weekend was a real blessing.
After the trip to Mexico we decided to start a non-profit organization, so we could collect funds ahead of
time to buy building materials for future trips. We named the organization Technical Outreach because
several of us were engineers with building skills, and we wanted to use our technical skills to bless
others to meet their physical needs and in the process minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Since that time we have been involved in building 3 medical clinics in Mexico; 1 medical clinic in Senegal,
West Africa; a school destroyed in a hurricane in Jamaica; a Sunday school in Guatemala; boats for
pastors in Brazil to travel the waterways of the Amazon for ministry; homes destroyed in an earthquake in Mexico; a deaf mute school in Dominican Republic; a church in Japan; an orphanage in Mexico; homes destroyed by a hurricane in Honduras;
furniture for an orphanage in Honduras; and recently we started working locally in Los Angeles County
with the homeless and fire victims.
Most importantly during all these projects we have taken the opportunity to show Gospel films, give
testimony of our faith in Jesus, pray for people to receive the Lord as Savior, and pray for needs.
We encourage you to come with us and we welcome any donations.
Thank you and God bless you!
